Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Biscotti Review

Published: Oct 8, 2025 by Tatiana · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

Every fall, Trader Joe's Pumpkin Biscotti shows up quietly on the shelves, and somehow, it always ends up in my cart. These crunchy, pumpkin-spiced cookies are simple but cozy - perfect for mornings when you just want coffee and something sweet to dunk in it.

First thing you notice

When you open the package, you get that wave of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove right away. It smells like every fall candle you've ever loved, but in cookie form. The biscotti are small, golden, and have that crisp, toasty look that practically begs to be dipped in something warm.

How they taste

They're sweet but not overly sugary, with a soft pumpkin flavor and plenty of spice. The balance feels right - more cinnamon and nutmeg forward, less pumpkin purée flavor. They remind me of a shortbread-meets-gingerbread hybrid: buttery, crunchy, and a little crumbly without being dry.

nutrition facts

Some biscotti are so hard they could double as construction material - not these. They have a good snap, but they don't fight back. You can bite into one without worrying about losing a tooth, which is always appreciated.

My favorite way to eat them

I love dunking these in my morning coffee - it's the only way, honestly. A couple of seconds in hot coffee softens the edges, brings out more spice, and turns each bite into a cozy little treat. If you leave them in too long, they'll fall apart, but if you time it just right, they melt in your mouth.

I've also used them a few different ways - crumbled over vanilla ice cream, broken into small chunks for yogurt parfaits, or even spread with a little Organic Maple Butter when I'm feeling extra fancy.

Are they worth it?

Definitely. A pack usually runs around $3.99, which is great for how long they last. They keep their crunch for weeks if sealed well. They're the kind of treat that makes your everyday coffee moment feel like a café stop without leaving the house.

Where to find them

Look for them in the bakery or seasonal sweets section. Trader Joe's tends to group pumpkin items together, so they're usually hanging out near the Pumpkin Brioche Twist, Pumpkin Joe-Joe's, or other fall favorites.

If you love these, try these too

If you're as pumpkin-obsessed as I am, these are worth adding to your fall rotation:

  • Pumpkin Joe-Joe's - sandwich cookies with a pumpkin-spice filling.
  • Pumpkin Brioche Twist - soft and rich, perfect toasted with butter.
  • Pumpkin Ice Cream - crumble some biscotti on top for dessert magic.
  • Pumpkin Bisque - for when you want something savory after all the sweets.

My final take

Trader Joe's Pumpkin Biscotti might not reinvent biscotti, but they don't need to. They're crisp, cozy, and full of warm spice - exactly what I want with my coffee when the mornings start to feel chilly. I'll absolutely keep buying them as long as Trader Joe's keeps bringing them back.
